Water: God's Life-Sustaining Everyday Miracle

Christian Faith and Water
Through the waters of our baptism, we are reminded of how God's redeeming grace cleanses and renews us.
God provides all of creation with safe water for good reason. Clean water is essential to health and habitat.  It keeps us hydrated, healthy, and turns our homes, our recreation sites, and work spaces into safe places.  Most of us cannot imagine living without clean safe water. Yet, this is a reality for many communities – from Michigan, to West Virginia, to Navajoland.  It is our firm conviction that faith communities must uphold a sacred trust to rightly share water among all peoples and all of creation.

About Our Work

Creation Justice Ministries encourages Christian communities to consider water as a sacred gift from God which connects and sustains all life.

We educate, equip, and mobilize Christian communities to conduct water blessings, as well advocate to protect clean, safe water.
