Derrick is the host of The Green Lectionary Podcast as well as a writer, filmmaker, podcaster, speaker, and educator, with a focus on the intersection of food and faith. He co-hosts the Food and Faith podcast, produces the Spoon, Spade, and Soul podcast, and created the short film series "A Wilderness Like Eden" highlighting food justice work in churches. With over two decades of experience as a pastor and community organizer, Derrick believes in the power of local congregations to drive change. He is also a co-author of "The Just Kitchen: Invitations to Sustainability, Cooking, Connection, and Celebration" and a prolific writer for various publications.
