Episode Highlights

"In Christ we are a new Creation–that’s what I've been hearing all my life. That life with Christ yields newness that comes with a change in our actions, and demeanor. Even after my own “ecological conversion” I had not thought differently about this passage. However Derrick Weston, the podcast host, sparked a new type of thinking in me when he clarified that the Greek for “world” in the maxim “Christ God was reconciling the world to himself” (v.19).”

- Naomi François, Theology Intern
"The Israelites' longing for their place of oppression because of hardship in the wilderness spoke to me especially as I think about the possibility of climate targets and goals at COP 30 weakening. I imagine for many decision makers, this is a hard time, and the temptation to lean the business-as-usual way - which will increase pollution, is real. So, the encouragement to keep moving forward because God is bringing life through the struggle is so good."

- Shema Roberts, Theology Intern
