Creation Justice Ministries & Covid-19Creation Justice Ministries has made many changes to continue our work safely during the pandemic. Our events have moved online and our staff & volunteers work safely from home.
Due to the pandemic many environmental injustices are more visible than ever. People of color are exposed to higher rates of air pollution, more likely to work in sanitation positions, and work as essential employees. Because of these reasons and more people of color are not only more likely to test positive for covid-19 but also die at higher rates of the virus. Those living without access to clean drinkable water are also at an additional disadvantage during the pandemic because water is used for sanitizing and washing ones hands. Creation Justice Ministries is committed to working for Justice for God's People and Planet through this pandemic. |
