Shepelle Watkins-White graduated from the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill and University of Richmond Law School. She is currently pursuing a Master of Divinity degree at Duke Divinity School. During Shepelle’s legal career, her practice focused on representing owners and developers in real estate transactions and zoning and permitting matters. She had the honor of serving as a substitute judge for eight years. Shepelle also served as Director, Government and Community Affairs, and later Director, Regulatory Affairs for a natural gas utility company, then as a Deputy Director of Public Utilities for the Virginia State Corporation Commission. Shepelle has always been active in church and community and enjoys spending time with her husband and daughters.
