Keyon Williamson

Keyon Williamson was born and raised in Orlando, Florida, by an extraordinary single mother whose faith, perseverance, and dedication helped shape his commitment to ministry and service. Keyon earned a Bachelor of Arts in Music and Biblical Studies from Southeastern University. During his undergraduate studies, he received his ministerial license at The Worship Center Orlando under the leadership of Bishop Frank E. Thompson.

He is currently completing a Master of Divinity at Duke Divinity School, where he is also pursuing certificates in Black Church Studies and Nonprofit Management. Keyon is on the ordination track with the Assemblies of God USA and remains committed to faithful leadership within the church and broader community.

In addition to his academic and ministerial work, Keyon serves as a Fellow with the National Latino Evangelical Coalition, supporting Latino pastors and conducting research at the intersection of faith, theology, and Latinx studies. His work seeks to foster meaningful engagement between theological scholarship and the lived experiences of diverse faith communities. While new to the field of creation care, Keyon is eager to learn and contribute, bringing a deep passion for faith-based advocacy, community engagement, and the pursuit of justice.
