Meet the 2020 Faithful Climate Action Fellows

Youth & Young Adult Engagement

Preparing the next generation of climate and environmental justice leaders is vital for the continuous work of protecting and restoring God's creation. Creation Justice Ministries engages young adults in a variety of ways and we hope you or a young adult in your life can participate with us.
  • Faithful Climate Action Fellowship: young climate activists and leaders of faith participate in this fellowship to gain leadership skills and deeper into environmental and faith topics by participating in monthly webinars. Additionally each fellow delivers a message at their house of worship and publishes their message. They also work on petition circulation campaign that is meaningful to them and their community. Learn more about the fellowship, apply, or nominate a fellow HERE.
  • Alternative Spring Break: This past March Creation Justice Ministries hosted a group from Cardinal Stritch University for their spring break. The theme for the week was environmental justice and faith. The cohort participated in educational seminars, visited environmental justice sights, volunteered their time to help clean up the Anacostia river, and finished up the week with a visit to their representatives on capitol hill to discuss issues of clean water and environmental racism in Milwaukee (where their university is located). If you are interested in scheduling an alternative trip to DC with us please email info@creationjustice.org.
  • Youth & Young Adult Seminars: Creation Justice Ministries offers environmental justice seminars to groups of youth and young adults. These seminars are interactive, educational, and engaging. If you are interested in scheduling a seminar or webinar, email us at info@creationjustice.org.
